hi! i’m emma.
With an emphasis on eco-mindfulness; I produce master-quality prints and provide custom artist solutions for creatives.
Paper Tides began in 2020 as a way to make the art and photography world feel a little more personal (and a lot less intimidating). After 10 years working as a color specialist and fine art printer, I wanted to build something more thoughtful, more human—and way more fun.
The print studio (a printer, computer, and a workbench) is sprinkled throughout my home - an 1889 Grange Hall in Phippsburg, Maine. I share the grange with my husband, Andrew, jewelry designer of Xenos Works, my baby son, Niko, and our fur friends.
Life is full right now—equal parts running a small business and raising a tiny human. But I still make time for my photography practice, reading the occasional trashy novel, daily visits to the ocean, big shared meals, and turning any space into a cozy one.
